Terms of use
Last updated: September 12, 2026.
Welcome to Eddeen! Explore, make friends and play fairly. These rules cover the website, your account, the game, chat and purchases. Read them before registering. By creating an account or using Eddeen, you agree to these terms, with the guardian involvement required below. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.
The short version
- You must be at least 13. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must give permission and help you understand these rules.
- Keep your password private. Be kind and do not cheat.
- Serious rule breaking can permanently close your whole account, including every character.
- Ask your parent or guardian before buying anything. Your legal consumer rights still apply.
1. Who runs Eddeen
Eddeen is operated by Paulo Coutinho, an individual based in Brazil. For help, safety reports, purchase questions or an appeal, email [email protected] or use our contact page.
2. Age and permission
The minimum age to create an account or play is 13 years old. This is our access rule, not an official age rating. A higher age required by local law or a store rating also applies. Children under 13 must not register, even with permission.
If you are 13 to 17, ask your parent or legal guardian to read these terms and the Privacy Policy with you and authorize your use. A guardian must also authorize purchases. Where the law requires a guardian to enter the agreement or give verified permission, that requirement must be met before the relevant service can be used. Do not give a false age or use someone else's details to get around these rules.
Parents and guardians can contact us about an account, permission or safety concern. We may restrict access while eligibility or permission is checked. The age at which someone can consent to personal data use is a separate legal question; being 13 does not automatically settle it.
3. Your account
Give accurate information where we ask for it, keep your email current and use a strong password. Choose a character name that does not reveal private information. Do not sell, rent, share or transfer account access, impersonate someone or pretend to be staff. Tell us promptly if someone gets into your account. We will consider the circumstances of unauthorized access before deciding on a penalty.
4. Playing with others
Eddeen is a fantasy world with battles, monsters and challenges. Other players are real people. Do not bully, threaten, stalk, discriminate, scam, spam or sexually harass anyone. Sexual exploitation, grooming, sexual content involving minors and requests for intimate pictures are strictly forbidden. Do not share someone else's private information or encourage illegal or dangerous acts.
The game chat is for text and does not offer file attachments. The website separately allows an account avatar. Any name, message or avatar you choose must follow these rules and respect other people's rights. Do not share passwords, addresses, phone numbers, payment details or other private information in chat. Another player may save or share what you say. You never need to send intimate content to play or receive help.
If something feels wrong, stop the conversation and tell a trusted adult. Report abuse through the available game reporting tools or our contact email. Include the character name, world, approximate time and a short description. We will review reports and explain the outcome within a reasonable time, while protecting other people's privacy. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
5. Fair play and security
Do not use hacks, cheats, bots, unauthorized automation or modified tools that give an unfair advantage. Do not exploit bugs, duplicate items, interfere with servers, steal accounts, spread malware, manipulate payments or help others do these things. Do not trade accounts or game assets for real money outside an expressly authorized service.
Report bugs privately instead of exploiting them. Good-faith reports are welcome. This rule does not prohibit lawful accessibility tools that do not automate play or create an unfair advantage, or activities protected by mandatory law. Ask us if you are unsure about a tool.
6. Warnings, suspensions and permanent bans
Depending on the evidence, seriousness, harm and history of a violation, we may remove content, require a name change, restrict chat, suspend access or permanently ban an account. Serious cheating, account theft, attacks, exploitation of minors or other severe abuse may lead to a permanent ban on a first violation.
A permanent ban may cover the entire account: all its characters, across all worlds, and access to its paid game features. Buying Premium does not protect an account from moderation. Creating or using another account to evade a ban is also forbidden and may lead to restrictions on that account.
We may act immediately to protect players or the service. We will give the reason and scope of a penalty, unless disclosure is restricted by law or would compromise safety or an investigation. To request a human review, contact us with your account or character identifier and your explanation. You may challenge a mistake without creating a new account. We will review relevant evidence and correct a wrongful action. A ban does not remove privacy rights or mandatory refund and consumer rights.
7. Purchases and Premium
Check the description, price, currency, billing period and any recurring charge before paying. Only a purchase clearly described as a subscription renews automatically. Premium and other digital benefits give the access or use described in the offer; they do not give ownership of Eddeen, its software or intellectual property. Game items are not investments or a promise of cash value.
Cancel a recurring subscription using the account controls or the store that manages it. Uninstalling the game or deleting an account is not a substitute for cancelling billing. Cancellation stops future renewals according to the purchase terms; the offer and applicable law determine the remaining access. Contact us if you cannot find the cancellation option.
8. Refunds and consumer rights
Contact us with the order reference and the problem. Never send a full card number or security code. For store purchases, you can also use that store's refund process.
In Brazil, the Consumer Protection Code provides a seven-day withdrawal right for qualifying distance purchases, counted as the law requires from signing or receiving the product or service. In the European Union, qualifying distance purchases generally have a fourteen-day withdrawal period. Exceptions for immediate digital delivery require the legal conditions to be met, including any required express consent and acknowledgement; these terms alone do not waive that right.
Rights concerning faulty, missing or misdescribed services remain available. We do not apply a blanket no-refunds rule, including after a ban. Refunds and related access adjustments follow the law and the offer. Nothing here limits a mandatory consumer remedy.
9. Content, changes and availability
Eddeen's software, artwork and other protected material belong to their rights holders. You may use the game for personal play under these terms. You keep the rights you have in your own messages and avatar, and allow us to process and display them only as needed to provide the service, handle reports and meet legal duties.
The game may change as we improve it, balance play or fix problems. Maintenance and outages can happen. We will give reasonable notice of material changes or a service closure when possible and respect rights attached to paid services. We do not promise uninterrupted play, but this does not exclude duties or liability that the law places on us.
10. Leaving, updates and the law
You can stop playing and request account deletion through your account or our contact email. Deleting an account removes its characters and progress; review the confirmation carefully and cancel subscriptions separately. Some records must remain for lawful purposes described in the Privacy Policy.
We will date changes to these terms and give clear notice of material changes before they take effect when required. If new acceptance is required, we will ask for it. Changes do not retroactively remove your rights or excuse earlier conduct.
Brazilian law governs these terms, without taking away mandatory protections in your country of residence. You may use competent courts, consumer bodies and data protection authorities available under applicable law. These terms do not force arbitration, waive access to courts or exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
