Eddeen was born from a dream of its creator, Paulo Coutinho: to build the most complete and accessible 2D MMO in the world. A living world where you could do almost anything you imagined, and where your journey took the shape of the life you chose to lead.

Beyond the garden

You lived in a wonderful place, created by the One God. Beauty was everywhere, and the garden offered a life that seemed impossible to lose. But by an error of your own, you sinned and were cast out.

Now you have to find your way in a world marked by the consequences of that sin. There is still wonder beyond the garden, but there is hunger, danger and uncertainty as well. What was once given to you now has to be won by the sweat of your brow.

A world to build your story in

Travel through unknown lands, face creatures small and great, and find out what lies past the next road. Some days will ask for courage and a sword in hand. Others will ask for patience: working the land, sowing, and reaping the food that keeps you alive.

Life in Eddeen is more than its battles. It is also the work between one adventure and the next, the people you meet, and the choices that turn an unknown place into a home. Survival, exploration and everyday life are part of the same journey.

Its gameplay and its interface are designed from the start for mobile devices and more limited platforms. The point is to make a deep adventure comfortable to play and easy to reach, so the device in your hands never decides how much of this world you get to live.
